The Exos is an instrument for leak detection and measurement of microleaks with a goal of improving packaging integrity in food industry. The only instrument in the market that combines leak measurement with a gas analyzer for MAP.

BENEFITS – ALL MODELS

  • Meets standards:
DIN 55508-1: measures flow rate at constant pressure
    ASTM F1140: seal strength
    ASTM F2054: burst test
  • Measures with very low pressure
  • Hermeticity or breathability measurement
  • Suitable for all types of packages, flexible and rigid, even large bags
  • Fully traceable via an internal spreadsheet
  • Excessive pressure can be fitted manually or automatically

Exos® – Leak only

The Exos Leak allows you to measure airtightness for vacuum packaging and pneumatic circuits.

This measurement device also checks the seal resistance with a burst test function.

These two tests can be carried out in quick succession on the same package.

The sensitivity threshold is 5 microns in terms of perforation size (Equivalent size of a bacteria is between 1 and 10 microns)

Exos®Leak,  O2 or O2 and CO2

The Exos Leak is the only instrument in the market that can be equipped with gas sensors like O2 or O2/CO2 and allow you to measure the concentration of gases and the airtightness for all types of packaging or even containers. Therefore you can better understand the relationship between inside atmosphere and leak measurement. This measurement device also checks the resistance of the seal by performing a  burst test. These 3 tests can be carried out in succession on the same packaging. The Exos lets you inspect the packaging integrity and can be used in the laboratory as well as during the manufacturing process.

Combines 5 measurements in 1 single test:

  • O2 or O2/CO2 gas analysis
  • Micro-leaks down to 5 μm
  • Creep test (A&B)
  • Burst Test
